Staff Software Engineer, Mobile (App Infrastructure)

What you'll do

• Set the long-term technical strategy for the team and align it with business-impacting projects.
• Manage technical sustainability, risks, and trade-offs by collaborating with product, design, and analytics teams.
• Own team operations by establishing monitoring, triage rotations, playbooks, and alerting policies.
• Define and enforce code review and design standards to foster a culture of quality.
• Develop team talent by providing consistent feedback, guidance, and technical leadership.
• Author high-quality code and technical plans to deliver major features or system components.
• Build and maintain shared mobile infrastructure including design systems, networking, and CI/CD tools.

What we're looking for

• You have 7+ years of experience developing and architecting mobile applications.
• You have experience using React Native.
• You are proficient in working with Javascript and Typescript.
• You have hands-on experience with React Native and Expo, including authoring or migrating native modules and components.
• You have experience with complex state management in a React app; proficiency with Redux Toolkit is bonus (preferred).
• You have performed React Native SDK major updates and can debug across the JS↔native boundary under the New Architecture.
• You have experience with mobile testing and observability tooling, including E2E frameworks, crash reporting, and experimentation platforms.
• This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
