What you'll do

Lead the design and implementation of full-stack features spanning React frontends, C# backend services, and database layers.
Build and scale 3D geospatial solutions using the ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript to surface enterprise data.
Identify critical technical problems and independently drive complex, cross-domain projects to successful completion.
Set up end-to-end solution structures, including DevSecOps tooling and cloud processes using Octopus Deploy.
Develop production-quality code by leveraging AI coding assistants and enterprise software agents.
Own the quality assurance strategy by creating and maintaining unit, integration, and system testing frameworks.
Triage complicated production failures and perform root cause analysis to resolve issues independently.
Mentor junior engineers on technical standards, coding techniques, and best practices for GIS and full-stack systems.

What we're looking for

8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Hands-on experience with ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript (4.x), including 3D development and spatial data serving.
Hands-on experience with modern LLM APIs, including prompt engineering, tool use, and structured outputs.
Ability to review, validate, and debug AI-generated code with strong engineering judgment.
Solid understanding of backend systems, microservice architectures, and distributed systems using C#, Python, or Node.js.
Front-end experience with React (Angular or Vue.js also considered) for product-facing applications and internal tools.
Experience designing RESTful APIs, major cloud platforms, relational/NoSQL databases, and CI/CD technologies.
