What you'll do

Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end features across React front ends and Python/Node.js backend services.
Own the full software development lifecycle from initial problem discovery through production support and maintenance.
Define architecture patterns, technical standards, and CI/CD pipelines for cloud deployments on AWS or Azure.
Design systems with built-in security, including role-based access control, encryption, and immutable audit trails.
Develop and evaluate LLM-enabled features and AI agents for legal and anti-financial crime workflows.
Implement human-in-the-loop controls and guardrails to ensure accuracy in AI-generated legal decisions.
Build and maintain data pipelines and integrations across internal systems and third-party platforms like Databricks.
Mentor engineers on engineering standards, secure design practices, and AI-assisted development workflows.

What we're looking for

8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Strong full stack experience with Python or Node.js backends and React front ends (Angular or Vue.js also considered).
Experience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs and microservice or distributed architectures.
Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure, including services like Lambda, ECS/EKS/AKS, and IAM/Entra ID.
Working knowledge of CI/CD, infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Bicep), and containerization.
Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB or Azure Cosmos DB).
Fluency in AI-powered development using coding assistants and hands-on experience with modern LLM APIs and prompt engineering.
