What you'll do

Define and execute the strategic roadmap for the System Catalog and Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
Design and own the configuration data model to ensure consistent, extensible, and accurate mapping of infrastructure components.
Establish and enforce CMDB data governance standards including lifecycle management and automated reconciliation rules.
Architect resilient, scalable systems for managing configuration data across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
Implement automated discovery and service mapping pipelines to maintain data accuracy with minimal manual intervention.
Develop API-driven products that provide a single source of truth for incident response, security, and cost visibility.
Mentor engineering teams and provide technical leadership to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent education/experience.
10+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
8+ years of experience with architecture and design.
6+ years of experience with open-source frameworks.
4+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or other cloud services.
Proficiency in modern programming languages including Go, Python, TypeScript, and React.
Experience with SQL, NoSQL, and graph databases for modeling configuration items and dependencies.
Demonstrated experience building or owning a system catalog, service catalog, or CMDB at enterprise scale.
