What you'll do

Set the technical direction for the micro-frontend architecture, module federation, and migration paths for the forms platform.
Own the end-to-end schema contracts for form experiences, including definition, validation, and backward-compatibility strategies.
Develop a renderer that converts schemas into accessible, performant UI without requiring code changes per field type.
Drive operational excellence by establishing SLOs, real-user performance monitoring, and structured client-side telemetry.
Lead the full software lifecycle including scoping, design, implementation, testing, documentation, and long-term maintenance.
Contribute to the design system by developing component APIs, design tokens, and theming for third-party embedding.
Ensure WCAG 2.2 AA conformance by integrating automated accessibility checks into the CI pipeline.
Provide technical leadership through design reviews, pairing, and written architecture guidance for other engineers.

What we're looking for

Significant experience designing and implementing maintainable, performant, and observable frontend architectures at scale.
Experience building or evolving production micro-frontend architectures with shared dependency strategies and cross-team contracts.
Deep expertise in schema-driven UI, including JSON Schema, dynamic form rendering, and declarative validation.
Proficiency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript and a major component framework (React preferred).
Strong knowledge of software engineering fundamentals, including CI/CD, testing strategies, instrumentation, and incident response.
Ability to ensure WCAG 2.2 AA conformance and design-system consistency as part of the definition of done.
Clear written communication skills for creating design docs, ADRs, and review comments.
Experience with widgets/SDKs embedded in third-party sites, large-scale monolith-to-modular migrations, edge rendering, or design-system stewardship (preferred).
