What we're looking for

5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including significant time at a senior or staff level.
Demonstrated ownership of large-scale distributed systems in production, including design, scaling, and operational responsibility.
Track record of technical leadership across teams, influencing outcomes through design and persuasion.
Experience mentoring engineers and improving engineering practices at a team or organizational level.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain technical tradeoffs to product and business partners.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
