Staff Software Engineer, Ads Measurement Signal

What you'll do

• Lead the backend architecture and implementation of a GenAI-powered Conversion Health agent.
• Design and implement services, data flows, and retrieval layers for agents to reason over conversion data at scale.
• Harden prompts, improve retrieval quality, and add safety checks to ensure reliable automated monitoring.
• Develop APIs and workflows to connect sub-agents with downstream advertising products and internal tools.
• Structure measurement context layers into high-quality, AI-consumable signals from conversion tables and enrichment pipelines.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate technical pain points into specific agent capabilities and features.
• Establish GenAI standards and guardrails to improve engineering velocity and measurement quality across the organization.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of backend or full-stack software engineering experience building large-scale distributed systems and data pipelines.
• Proven track record shipping GenAI- or ML-powered products including retrieval, evaluation, and safety guardrails.
• Prior ads domain expertise in measurement, conversion tracking, attribution, and campaign optimization metrics like ROAS and CPA.
• Proficiency in product scoping, data analysis, and experimentation using SQL over large datasets.
• Demonstrated technical leadership in scoping ambiguous problems and driving complex initiatives from vision through launch.
• Experience upleveling engineers in AI tooling and establishing team-wide standards for AI-assisted workflows.
• Must be a US-based applicant located within commuting distance of a Seattle office.
