What you'll do

Design, commission, and upgrade control systems for Solid Rocket Motor production equipment.
Architect, write, and debug structured Siemens PLC code for high-volume manufacturing applications.
Build and maintain SCADA applications in Ignition, including tag architecture and Perspective screens.
Integrate internal and external FactoryOS software into automation equipment and production lines.
Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for automation failures to ensure long-term reliability.
Install, configure, and tune servo drives and VFDs.
Generate and enforce internal standards for control system architectures and regulatory compliance.
Mentor junior controls engineers and provide technical direction on integrator-delivered work.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
8+ years of experience in controls and automation in a production environment.
Expert in Siemens PLC programming using Ladder and Structured Text.
Proficient in servo drive and VFD configuration, PID tuning, and STO/SS.
Strong knowledge of ethernet based communication protocols including ProfiNET, ProfiSAFE, and Ethernet IP.
Proficient with electrical component selection, wire sizing, circuit protection, and heat management.
Experience developing SCADA applications in Ignition including Perspective, tag architecture, and historian.
Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities.
