What you'll do

Design, commission, and upgrade control systems for Solid Rocket Motor production equipment.
Write and debug structured, documented, and maintainable Siemens PLC code for high-volume manufacturing.
Integrate FactoryOS software into automation equipment and production lines.
Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions to resolve automation failures and ensure reliability.
Install, configure, and tune servo drives and VFDs.
Perform risk assessments and control safety designs in compliance with regulatory standards.
Troubleshoot electrical components and manage circuit protection and heat management in control cabinets.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
2+ years of experience in controls and automation in a production environment.
Proficiency in Siemens PLC programming using Ladder and Structured Text.
Proficiency in servo drive and VFD configuration, PID tuning, STO/SS, and pneumatic concepts.
Knowledge of ethernet based communication protocols such as ProfiNET, ProfiSAFE, and Ethernet IP.
Proficiency in electrical component selection, wire sizing, circuit protection, heat management, and NFPA70e safety practices.
Experience with SCADA integration, OT Networking, Risk Assessments, and Controls Safety Design.
Must be a U.S. Person due to export control requirements.
