What you'll do

Design, commission, and upgrade control systems for Solid Rocket Motor production equipment.
Write and debug structured, maintainable Siemens PLC code for high-volume manufacturing.
Integrate internal and external FactoryOS software into automation equipment and production lines.
Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for automation failures to ensure long-term reliability.
Install, configure, and tune servo drives and VFDs.
Perform risk assessments and controls safety designs following regulatory compliance standards.
Troubleshoot equipment issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
2+ years of experience in controls and automation in a production environment.
Proficient in Siemens PLC programming using Ladder and Structured Text.
Proficient in servo drive and VFD configuration, PID tuning, STO/SS, and pneumatic concepts.
Strong knowledge of ethernet based communication protocols including ProfiNET, ProfiSAFE, and Ethernet IP.
Proficient with electrical component selection, wire sizing, circuit protection, and heat management.
Experience integrating with SCADA, OT Networking, and performing Risk Assessments and Controls Safety Design.
Export controlled information or facilities.
