Staff Reliability Engineer

What you'll do

• Provide technical leadership to direct a team for semiconductor reliability improvement activities.
• Plan and execute reliability evaluations for new technology introduction, product qualification, and process changes.
• Manage solutions to integration problems by coordinating with Fab, Device, and Product Test departments.
• Design, execute, and analyze experiments to improve semiconductor fabrication processes.
• Use statistical tools and reliability models to extract lifetime data from time-to-fail results.
• Define new process integrations for advanced technology nodes based on lessons learned.
• Author technical papers for symposiums and journals to represent company leadership in the industry.

What we're looking for

• Applicants must be authorized to access information subject to U.S. export control laws or eligible for government authorization.
• Requires 10+ years of related experience in Semiconductor process, product, or device engineering.
• MS or PhD in Engineering or Physics (preferred Electrical Engineering or Materials Engineering).
• Experience in reliability evaluation for NTI/NPI, technology qualification, and process changes is required.
• Ability to use statistical tools and reliability models to extract lifetime from time-to-fail data.
• Strong understanding of Semiconductor Device Physics or Reliability Degradation Mechanisms (preferred).
