Staff Program Manager

What you'll do

• Serve as the primary point of contact for defense accounts to manage day-to-day communications and operational requests.
• Translate client mission objectives into technical solutions by collaborating with internal engineering and product teams.
• Navigate complex government procurement processes and contracting mechanisms to ensure successful program execution.
• Drive the adoption of rocket motor systems through technical demonstrations, presentations, and product briefings.
• Coordinate logistics for product demonstrations, training sessions, and field support visits.
• Track and document all client interactions, support tickets, and usage data within the CRM system.
• Manage contract negotiations and renewals to ensure favorable terms and long-term partnership success.
• Monitor and report on key account metrics, including revenue targets and program milestones.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• 8-10+ years of experience in program/project management, sales, or business development within the defense, aerospace, or government contracting sector.
• Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain one.
• Proven track record of managing complex client relationships and closing contracts with U.S. government entities.
• Experience with military operations, rocket motor systems, missile, ballistics, or complex technical product support (preferred).
• Prior military experience in an operational or procurement role related to advanced systems (preferred).
• Proficiency in CRM software such as Salesforce and other program management tools.
• Ability to travel frequently, up to 50% or more, to client sites and operational environments.
