Staff Program Manager

What you'll do

• Lead the end-to-end technical delivery of rocket motor systems from initial concept through final deployment.
• Manage technical planning, cost, risk, and schedules to ensure all engineering deliverables meet contractual requirements.
• Act as a primary bridge between program managers and cross-functional engineering teams including electrical, mechanical, and systems engineering.
• Build and maintain relationships with government customers to establish feedback loops for rapid product iteration.
• Execute on ambiguous requirements from internal stakeholders and third-party partners to ensure successful outcomes across multiple programs.
• Develop and implement lightweight processes, tools, and metrics for program planning and risk management.
• Identify system dependencies, technical risks, and the impact of architectural decisions during the development process.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years experience managing the development of complex technical systems throughout the product lifecycle.
• Proven track record of managing multi-million-dollar projects to on-time and on-budget completion.
• Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities across tactical and high-level scopes.
• Experience coordinating multiple internal and external teams within a complex engineering or technology-focused organization.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for presenting complex information to diverse audiences.
• Ability to work in an environment requiring 50% travel.
