Staff Technical Program Manager

What you'll do

• Drive the technical execution of development programs from initial concept through final delivery.
• Ensure all engineering deliverables meet contractual requirements, milestones, and technical standards.
• Identify system dependencies, interfaces, technical risks, and the impact of key architectural decisions.
• Develop and implement lightweight processes, tools, and metrics for program planning and risk management.
• Manage customer relationships with the Department of Defense to shape solutions and enable rapid iteration.
• Execute on broad or ambiguous requirements from internal engineering, customers, and third-party partners.
• Serve as the primary bridge between program managers and functional engineering teams.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (technical background preferred).
• Minimum of 8 years experience managing the development of complex technical systems throughout the product lifecycle.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex, multi-million-dollar projects to on-time, on-budget completion.
• Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities to move between tactical and high-level perspectives.
• Experience coordinating multiple internal and external teams within a complex engineering or technology-focused organization.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
