Staff PCB Design Engineer

What you'll do

• Produce printed circuit board designs in collaboration with engineering teams.
• Create high-reliability, manufacturable assemblies using modern design standards and guidelines.
• Implement complex designs involving high-speed digital, precision analog, RF, and high-power components.
• Establish internal guidelines for DFM, DFA, and overall quality fabrication and assembly outputs.
• Develop and refine team processes for PCB design, part creation, and library management.
• Coordinate external PCB design resources during periods of high demand or project surges.
• Manage communication with fabricators and assembly houses to ensure products meet specifications.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or similar and 7+ years of professional experience in PCB design.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics while applying best practices for each design.
• Expertise in IPC standards, CID, and CID+ certification.
• Expertise in PCB fabrication processes, limitations, design rules, and best practices.
• Experience using Altium Designer CAD tools (Allegro is a plus).
• Experience with high-density/high-layer count digital designs, power electronics, flex circuits, and RF circuits.
• Experience with HDI, thick boards, and high-speed digital interfaces like USB, PCIe, Ethernet, SERDES, and DDR memory.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
