What you'll do

Create test systems for development, qualification, verification, and validation purposes.
Design PCB layouts using Altium software based on provided schematics.
Manage ECAD libraries and maintain component library standards.
Implement high-speed digital interfaces including USB, PCIe, and Ethernet with controlled impedance routing.
Apply signal and power integrity rules to influence and optimize board layouts.
Ensure designs comply with fabrication and assembly processes, DFM/DFA requirements, and MIL-STD/IPC standards.
Manage complex high-density routing for BGA fanouts and multi-layer stackups.

What we're looking for

3+ years of experience with PCB Layout.
3+ years of experience with Altium.
Ability to read and interpret schematics while applying appropriate design best practices.
Solid understanding of PCB fabrication, assembly processes, limitations, design rules, and best practices.
Experience with ECAD libraries and library management.
Familiarity with basic signal and power integrity rules as they affect layout.
Experience with high speed digital interfaces and controlled impedance routing requirements like USB, PCIe, and Ethernet.
Eligible for security clearance.
CID, CID++, or PCEA-CPCD certification (preferred).
Experience with MIL-STD and IPC standards (preferred).
Experience with high density routing, such as BGA fanout and stackups over 10 layers (preferred).
Experience with power distribution networks and signal integrity analyzers (preferred).
Experience working with vendors on DFM/DFA (preferred).
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or similar (preferred).
