  • Translate hyperscaler requirements from clients like Microsoft and Meta into actionable features for R&D teams.
  • Map emerging industry standards into specific, actionable product requirements for internal engineering teams.
  • Collaborate with architects from major cloud providers to develop next-generation storage architectures and form factors.
  • Create technical whitepapers and educational materials to establish thought leadership in the storage community.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science with 10+ years experience, Master's with 8+ years, or Ph.D. with 5+ years.
  • Minimum of 10 years of direct experience in the storage industry including legacy HDD and modern NAND flash/SSD development.
  • Proven track record of leadership or technical contribution within core storage bodies like NVMe, OCP, or SNIA.
  • Experience designing or standardizing storage solutions that satisfy OCP Datacenter NVMe SSD Specifications for major cloud vendors.
  • Deep technical knowledge of PCIe/NVMe protocols, FDP, telemetry, and legacy enterprise protocols such as SAS, SATA, and SCSI.
  • Practical understanding of SNIA frameworks for storage management, data security, and lifecycle tracking.
  • Ability to master Samsung's proprietary SSD technologies, flash translation layers (FTL), and custom controller roadmaps.
  • Exceptional English communication skills to lead technical debates, author formal specifications, and build consensus among partners.
