Staff Engineer, Customer Interfaces

What you'll do

• Build Generative UIs that adapt in real-time to create dynamic, multi-modal conversational experiences.
• Develop Agentic Workflows and manage backend orchestration including Tool-use, Chains, and Policy Layers.
• Architect security layers for conversational interfaces to maintain Zero Trust principles with financial data.
• Act as the primary technical liaison for AI initiatives across global teams and geographies.
• Partner with product leadership to identify high-impact flows and solve complex merchant problems through automation.
• Own the end-to-end technical lifecycle from backend services and data pipelines to frontend components.
• Mentor engineers and establish technical standards across the global organization.

What we're looking for

• Experience building production-grade interfaces powered by LLMs, including RAG architectures and secure data handling.
• Proficiency in Java for developing secure backend services.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, React, or Vue for complex front-end applications.
• Ability to architect security layers for conversational interfaces using "Zero Trust" principles.
• Experience building Agentic Workflows and managing backend orchestration like Tool-use, Chains, and Policy Layers.
• Proven track record of partnering with product teams to translate ambiguous goals into technical reality.
• Ability to lead the end-to-end technical lifecycle from data pipelines to frontend components.
