Staff AI Customer Engineer

What you'll do

• Lead discovery and "art-of-the-possible" ideation sessions with C-suite and senior executive audiences.
• Design end-to-end AI solution architectures including agentic platforms, data pipelines, and ML components.
• Own the full engineering lifecycle for production-ready AI applications from prototype to deployment.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior executives to identify new business opportunities.
• Create client-ready artifacts such as proposals, Statements of Work, and technical architecture decks.
• Balance architectural decisions regarding quality, safety, latency, cost, and model risk.
• Orchestrate cross-functional teams across sales, engineering, and delivery to ensure consistent outcomes.
• Mentor junior engineers through deal reviews, coaching, and professional development planning.

What we're looking for

• Must have 8+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, solution architecture, pre-sales, or technical consulting.
• Must possess executive presence to engage and influence C-suite and senior business executives in high-stakes settings.
• Demonstrated success deploying GenAI-powered solutions in enterprise environments at scale.
• Proven ability to lead structured discovery, ideation workshops, and solution design for complex AI opportunities.
• Proficiency in Python and at least one other programming language with fluency in enterprise integration patterns.
• Deep expertise in LLMs, agentic architectures, MLOps/LLMOps, RAG, and multi-hyperscaler platforms like AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, and Azure AI Foundry.
• Ability to implement Responsible AI practices aligned with NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001, and the EU AI Act.
