What you'll do

Manage day-to-day administration and production operations for the Slack Enterprise Grid environment.
Approve and govern the use of apps, integrations, and AI agents within the messaging platform.
Configure and defend retention, legal hold, eDiscovery, and audit evidence for all messaging content.
Lead high-severity messaging incidents to identify root causes and manage vendor cases to closure.
Build and operate automated services, pipelines, and connectors using Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD.
Set multi-year technical standards and lead build-versus-buy decisions for the messaging platform.
Partner with AI teams to provide Slack context to enterprise AI while maintaining strict permissions.
Own the technical interoperability between Slack and Microsoft Teams platforms.

What we're looking for

5+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
10+ years of experience in enterprise messaging and collaboration engineering.
4+ years of experience managing Slack Enterprise Grid for 5,000+ users.
Proficiency in Slack administration including retention, eDiscovery, OAuth scope governance, Slack Connect, and information barriers.
Proficiency in Python or PowerShell scripting against Slack APIs.
Production cloud experience with Terraform, CI/CD, secrets management, and workload identity.
Experience with Entra ID, SAML/SSO, SCIM, conditional access, and OAuth 2.0.
Experience supporting eDiscovery, legal hold, records retention, or audit requests in regulated environments.
