Triage and resolve production issues in coordination with support and operations teams to ensure high availability.
Mentor other engineers and provide detailed code reviews to elevate engineering standards and tooling.
Translate complex technical concepts into understandable information for designers, support staff, and other engineers.

What we're looking for

A related technical degree is required.
7+ years of professional experience building web applications.
Proficiency in functional or imperative programming languages such as PHP, Java, Python, Ruby, Go, or C.
Solid grasp of data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, and information retrieval.
Ability to drive technical decisions and contribute to architecture discussions.
Ability to write understandable, testable, and maintainable code.
Strong ability to explain complex technical concepts to designers, support staff, and other engineers.
Expertise in PHP/Hack, React, TypeScript, MySQL, and Linux (preferred).
