Staff Cloud Automation Engineer

What you'll do

• Design and operate enterprise Infrastructure as Code (IaC) platforms across AWS, Azure, GCP, and private cloud environments.
• Develop cloud-native platform capabilities including Terraform provisioning services, GitOps deployment platforms, and workflow orchestration systems.
• Engineer scalable software, APIs, and automation frameworks using Kubernetes, Go, TypeScript, Helm, and GitHub Actions.
• Lead platform architecture, cloud automation strategy, and engineering standards for enterprise-scale infrastructure.
• Implement policy-driven governance frameworks using Open Policy Agent (OPA) and manage configuration via ArgoCD and Ansible.
• Build AI-powered developer experiences and productivity tools leveraging Azure AI Foundry and large language models.
• Establish enterprise observability solutions using OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Loki, Tempo, and Mimir.
• Mentor engineers and drive the adoption of best practices in reliability, security, and cloud governance.

What we're looking for

• 7+ years of experience delivering cloud, platform, infrastructure, or software engineering solutions in large-scale enterprise environments.
• 6+ years of experience architecting and operating solutions across AWS, Microsoft Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform.
• 5+ years of experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, Ansible, or similar technologies.
• 5+ years of experience building software, APIs, or cloud-native applications using Go, TypeScript, Python, or Node.js.
• 3+ years of experience leading technical initiatives involving CI/CD, GitOps, cloud governance, and observability.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or equivalent work experience (High School Diploma/GED plus 4 years of relevant experience).
• Experience building AI-powered developer platforms or agentic workflows leveraging Azure AI Foundry and LLMs (preferred).
• Experience serving as a Staff Engineer, Principal Engineer, or Technical Lead providing leadership for cloud or infrastructure initiatives (preferred).
