The Staff AI/ML Engineer, Developer Productivity joins the AV Developer Tools team within the AI Cloud and Developer Productivity organization. What you'll do

Identify engineering pain points and design scalable, maintainable solutions.
Influence the team’s technical roadmap and evaluate new technologies through PoCs.
Ship improvements to AV development toolchains to increase engineering productivity.
Drive software engineering best practices and create tooling to encourage them.
Mentor and grow the technical skills of engineers on the team.
Balance the delivery of business impact with the management of technical debt.
Set boundaries on external requests to ensure alignment with the team vision.

What we're looking for

5+ years of experience designing, building and operating production systems at scale in the cloud.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
Experience designing highly scalable, reliable, and maintainable services.
Experience writing in Go, Python, or other languages at production scale.
Understanding of Unix/Linux, SSH, and networking fundamentals.
Ability to lead, influence, research, and communicate technical proposals and feedback.
Demonstrated application of LLMs, skills, and MCPs to coding & review workflows (preferred).
Experience working with GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, or contributing to Open-Source projects (preferred).
