Stability Quality Engineer, Data Center Systems Quality

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and execute system-level stability and stress tests across data center platforms.
• Manage racks of systems running concurrent tests to simulate production deployment conditions.
• Identify and debug issues using performance analysis and stress benchmarks to expose design flaws.
• Develop and optimize test frameworks for large-scale validation in controlled environments.
• Report findings clearly through Apple's bug reporting processes and support engineering investigations.

What we're looking for

• 3+ years of experience in hardware/software test engineering focusing on system validation or data center environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with modern CPU architecture and microarchitecture concepts through processor-level debugging/validation projects.
• Proficiency with Unix-based operating systems and scripting automation using Python, Ruby, Swift, JavaScript for test frameworks.
• Ability to design comprehensive validation test plans and work independently in multi-system environments.
• Experience developing and maintaining automation frameworks that expand test coverage in complex system environments.
• Proven capability to collaborate cross-functionally with hardware, software, data center operations, and quality teams.
