Senior Tools and Automation Engineer

What you'll do

• Design and implement scalable automated test frameworks using Swift and/or Python.
• Plan, author, and maintain manual and automated test cases based on feature specifications.
• Execute functional, regression, and exploratory testing cycles to ensure coverage before releases.
• Detect, isolate, and document bugs with precise reproduction steps and impact assessments.
• Evaluate and integrate AI/ML-driven testing approaches to improve efficiency and coverage.
• Translate product requirements into actionable test strategies in collaboration with engineering teams.
• Triage and track defects through the full software development lifecycle to resolution.
• Build and maintain CI/CD-integrated test pipelines to identify regressions early.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
• 5+ years of experience in software QA or quality engineering roles with strong command of testing methodologies and processes.
• 4+ years planning, designing, writing, maintaining, and executing test cases manually and through automation using Swift and/or Python.
• 3+ years testing customer-facing software applications focused on functional correctness, usability, and reliability.
• Proven experience shipping at least one commercial or consumer product through a full release cycle.
• Demonstrated ability to translate feature requirements into maintainable test plans and manage multiple simultaneous projects under strict deadlines.
• Familiarity with video technologies, codecs, media pipelines, or creative tools (preferred).
• Proficiency with Xcode, Instruments, CI/CD integration, or internal QA tooling (preferred).
