What you'll do

Analyze and validate microcontroller-based embedded systems and firmware algorithms.
Develop test fixtures, custom tools, and automated scripts using Python.
Execute manual and automated test plans on early prototype hardware.
Identify architectural weaknesses and create comprehensive validation plans for new features.
Document all test cases and code used during the execution of tests.
Track performance metrics and drive identified issues to resolution with management.
Collaborate with Human Factors teams to validate the user experience of input devices.

What we're looking for

BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related degree.
3+ years of relevant industry experience.
Experience leveraging AI-powered development tools to streamline workflows and improve code quality.
Experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and sensors.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related degrees (preferred).
Experience writing/testing firmware, building embedded systems, and using hardware debugging tools like oscilloscopes or logic analyzers (preferred).
Proficiency in Python, C/C++, Mac/iOS/UNIX systems, and CI systems (preferred).
