What you'll do

  • Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise-scale data platforms for Financial Crime, Risk, and Compliance.
  • Drive modernization initiatives by migrating legacy data ecosystems to cloud-native and Databricks-based architectures.
  • Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models to ensure quality, scalability, and governance.
  • Translate complex business requirements from stakeholders into strategic technology solutions.
  • Define enterprise architecture standards for data ingestion, transformation, storage, lineage, and consumption.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies to improve performance, resiliency, and regulatory compliance.
  • Build secure, highly available, and resilient data products in collaboration with engineering and security teams.
  • Mentor architects and engineers while fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 10 years of experience with the concepts, philosophies, and tools behind the design of applications and information technologies.
  • At least 10 years of experience with developing and implementing applications.
  • Expertise in enterprise data architecture for platforms supporting Financial Crime, Risk, Compliance, or Regulatory functions.
  • Experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, Delta Lake, and modern Lakehouse Architecture patterns.
  • Deep knowledge of cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, or hybrid environments.
  • Proficiency with SQL, Python, distributed data processing, and modern data integration frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of Data Governance, Metadata Management, Data Lineage, and security frameworks like IAM and encryption.
