Senior System Development Engineer, Antenna System Validation

What you'll do

• Design and implement hardware, firmware, software, or FPGA components for antenna systems.
• Support the bring-up, characterization, and validation of antenna subsystems in the lab.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, firmware, and software issues during development and production testing.
• Develop tools to test and validate payload phased arrays with thousands of individual elements.
• Create technical documentation and contribute to design reviews for new hardware and software.
• Define and release new antenna hardware and software capabilities in coordination with systems architects.

What we're looking for

• Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or lawfully admitted as a refugee or granted asylum.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field (preferred).
• 5+ years of programming experience with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, or Ruby.
• Experience with digital design, verification, or embedded firmware development such as SystemVerilog/VHDL RTL, UVM testbenches, or microcontroller firmware.
• Experience using common electronics test equipment like oscilloscopes, power supplies, and function generators.
• Experience with FPGA design and implementation using SystemVerilog or VHDL (preferred).
• Export control laws and regulations, candidates.
