Manage PCBA processes and products for the Starshield supply chain.
Ensure continuity of supply for electronic products to meet program volume targets.
Define supplier technical requirements and flow downs to meet hardware manufacturing needs.
Implement and monitor the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) with selected suppliers.
Develop and approve process controls to manage critical characteristics.
Analyze supplier quality and delivery metrics to identify trends and drive improvement plans.
Drive supplier corrective actions for any escapes or containments identified in production.
Provide technical support and act as a liaison between purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, material science engineering, hardware engineering, engineering physics, or another engineering discipline.
5+ years of experience in PCBA manufacturing, SMT processing, and/or microelectronics packaging.
5+ years of experience in a manufacturing, reliability, and/or design engineering role.
Ability and willingness to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or eligible for required export control authorizations.
Knowledge of supplier quality processes such as PPAP, APQP, and FAIR.
Familiarity with quality systems (ISO 9000/TS/AS9100/NADCAP) and IPC manufacturing standards.
Proficiency in statistical techniques like Six Sigma or design of experiments.
