Senior Staff Hardware Engineer, System Level Test (Technical Lead)

What you'll do

• Define and drive the design of product test hardware and electronic test board interfaces.
• Lead the production test platform roadmap and manage interactions with vendors for platform development.
• Define and drive key performance indicator matrices to track team deliverables and functional group interactions.
• Manage project planning including tasks, timelines, resourcing, and budgeting for system level test deliverables.
• Review and define test requirements to drive customer quality improvement initiatives.
• Present project updates and performance matrices to the management team periodically.
• Stress and break Snapdragon products using advanced process technologies to ensure system quality.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 6+ years of Hardware Engineering experience.
• Master's degree in a related field and 5+ years of Hardware Engineering experience.
• PhD in a related field and 4+ years of Hardware Engineering experience.
• 14+ years of experience in SoC or Electronics Project Management, System Test, Automation, or Computer Engineering.
• Ability to define and drive product test hardware design and interface with electronics test board design and simulations teams.
• Experience as an engineering lead driving development of test solutions and customer quality improvement initiatives.
• Background in semiconductor engineering, manufacturing processes, wireless standards, and wireless product design and test.
• Familiarity with Qualcomm chipsets, ARM architecture, Test Sequencers, and Automated Test Equipment (preferred).
