What you'll do

Design custom circuit cards using FPGAs, embedded processors, and networking components.
Perform schematic capture, simulations, PCB analysis, and layout for hardware designs.
Execute performance characterization of hardware across a wide variety of environmental conditions.
Conduct detailed hardware-level debugging and functional measurements using lab test equipment.
Integrate high-speed digital components and commercially available chipsets into communication systems.
Document designs including requirements, testing procedures, and bills of materials.
Support the transition of hardware from design to manufacturing testing.
Participate in formal design reviews and system integration processes.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree and 6 years of experience, a graduate degree and 4 years of experience, or no degree and 10 years of experience are required.
Master’s Degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Electrical Engineering (preferred).
Minimum of 3 years of experience with CCA and Hardware Design (preferred).
Minimum of 4 years' experience with hardware verification, schematic capture, and PCB Layout (preferred).
Experience in laboratory debug techniques using digital scopes, logic analyzers, BERTS, and other complex measurement devices (preferred).
Experience with Mentor Graphic’s tools (preferred).
Familiarity with code revision management tools such as Git/ClearCase (preferred).
Security clearance.
