Senior HW Design Engineer

What you'll do

• Lead system-level hardware design for new products including architecture definition and functional specifications.
• Drive design for manufacturability, testability, and reliability across all phases of development.
• Research and evaluate emerging technologies to enhance existing products and guide new product directions.
• Oversee and mentor engineers by providing technical guidance and reviewing work for quality.
• Author and implement designs for programmable logic devices using Verilog HDL when required.
• Interface with suppliers and manufacturing partners for validation and issue resolution.
• Support sustaining engineering for legacy products and provide training for new designs.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in electrical hardware design for high-speed digital, analog, and mixed-signal systems.
• Proficiency with schematic capture and hardware design tools such as Cadence, Altium, or Mentor Graphics.
• Proficiency in Verilog HDL programming for CPLD design.
• Expertise in Intel x86 motherboard design and high-speed interfaces like DDR4/5, PCIe g5, and 100G/400G/800G Ethernet.
• Expertise in electrical design for Altera and Xilinx FPGAs and CPU VR power supply design.
• Strong understanding of signal integrity, power integrity, EMI/EMC, and thermal considerations.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills at both the board and system levels.
