Senior Specialist, Business Systems Analyst 1

What you'll do

• Serve as the Product Owner to set the product vision, strategy, and purpose for the development team.
• Translate customer requirements into actionable work items and maintain a healthy backlog using Agile Scrum practices.
• Develop and maintain a product roadmap and release plan to ensure delivery schedules are met.
• Coordinate directly with customers and stakeholders to communicate program status and future requirements.
• Track project deliveries, analyze business metrics, and report the status of deliverables to program managers.
• Maintain an operational Software Integration Laboratory (SIL) to support iterative development and testing.
• Support technical customer meetings, integration events, and ground or flight test events.
• Assist in writing and reviewing technical documentation for the software product.

What we're looking for

• Must be a U.S. citizen to obtain and maintain a US Government security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics field with 6 years minimum relevant experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of prior related experience as a Business Analyst, Engineer, or with DoD customers in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with hardware and software integration, or installation/maintenance of avionics systems.
• Experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner, or significant experience in a related industry.
• Ability to develop product vision, strategy, and roadmaps using Agile Scrum practices.
• Strong communication skills to bridge knowledge gaps between technical and non-technical team members.
• Proactive self-starter with excellent project management, critical thinking, and analytical skills (preferred).
