Senior Software QA Engineer

What you'll do

• Own and drive the QA strategy for key software products, including test architecture and coverage models.
• Establish and enforce testing standards for coding guidelines, documentation, and CI/CD quality gates.
• Participate in requirements reviews, architecture discussions, and sprint grooming to champion early quality.
• Mentor junior and mid-level QA engineers through test case reviews and technical guidance.
• Drive continuous improvement of QA processes using Danaher Business System principles to reduce waste.
• Manage the defect lifecycle and sprint reporting using Jira for cross-team quality visibility.
• Perform software verification and instrument-software integration testing in office and laboratory environments.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Master’s degree (preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, including ownership of test strategy and automation architecture.
• Hands-on proficiency with automation frameworks like Cypress or Playwright and scripting in TypeScript, Python, or C#.
• Experience configuring CI/CD pipelines such as TeamCity, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Advanced experience using Jira for defect lifecycle management, test planning, and sprint reporting.
• Ability to work in an office and laboratory/instrument environment.
• Experience with HCS.ai, IN Carta®, or hardware-software integration testing (preferred).
