What you'll do

Design and execute functional, performance, scalability, and reliability tests for FortiGate Chassis platforms.
Validate synchronization of configuration, FIB/FDB, and sessions across chassis components.
Test packet forwarding and session-aware load balancing under high-throughput traffic conditions.
Verify system resiliency and service continuity during module failures, restarts, and failovers.
Troubleshoot complex data-plane issues using packet captures, logs, and diagnostic tools.
Develop and maintain test automation tools using Python and Bash.
Design and maintain test environments and identify necessary networking equipment.

What we're looking for

3+ years of experience in networking, system testing, software QA, or a related engineering role.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong understanding of TCP/IP, Layer 2/3/4 packet forwarding, VLAN, LAG/LACP, ARP/ND, NAT, and HA.
Strong hands-on Linux and system troubleshooting skills.
Good Python and Bash scripting/automation skills.
Experience with packet analysis and diagnostic tools such as Wireshark and tcpdump.
Experience with high-performance firewalls, routers, switches, or chassis-based networking platforms (preferred).
