What you'll do

Own the end-to-end delivery of features from technical design and implementation through testing and production observability.
Architect non-blocking, event-driven service pipelines that handle millions of concurrent requests with resilience.
Design and build microservices for low-latency, high-throughput customer experiences across web and mobile platforms.
Implement contract-first API designs to ensure backward compatibility and clean integration across service boundaries.
Drive engineering best practices including code reviews, unit/integration testing, and CI/CD pipeline improvements.
Develop high-scale, fault-tolerant, and secure cloud-based distributed systems.
Manage complex backend logic using the Spring ecosystem and advanced Java performance optimization techniques.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
5+ years of proven experience developing software in a professional capacity (longer experience preferred).
2+ years of experience with Java, including concurrency, memory management, and performance optimization.
Proficiency in OOP principles, data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns to build testable and maintainable backend code.
Experience building production applications using the Spring ecosystem, including Spring Boot, WebFlux, and microservices.
Solid understanding of advanced JVM internals such as garbage collection, memory allocation, JIT, and JNI.
Experience designing and shipping high-scale, fault-tolerant, and secure cloud-based distributed systems.
Solid knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and infrastructure including HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/IP, load balancing, and Zero Trust architecture.
