What you'll do

Architect and implement a scalable, cost-optimized S3-based Data Lakehouse for structured and unstructured data.
Build a scalable, cost-performance-optimized OLAP-based analytics layer.
Design and implement a globally distributed vector database for managing billions of embeddings with sub-100ms retrieval.
Develop hybrid search strategies combining dense vectors with sparse representations for semantic retrieval.
Implement robust data quality frameworks with staging-first policies and automated validation pipelines.
Design semantic data models and extensible metrics schemas to support complex analytical queries and AI retrieval.
Build cloud services and APIs to orchestrate software simulations on satellites, ground gateways, and customer terminals.
Establish automated compliance validation frameworks to ensure data handling meets security standards.

What we're looking for

Candidates must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, refugee, or granted asylum.
5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems.
Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
5+ years of full software development life cycle experience (preferred).
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent (preferred).
Export control laws and regulations, candidates.
