JOB TITLE: Sr. Software Dev Engineer, Antenna System Validation, Amazon Leo As a Sr. Software Dev Engineer on the antenna systems validation team for Amazon Leo, you will build the software backbone for satellite ground infrastructure. You will develop scalable test automation frameworks to validate complex antenna systems, design data pipelines for processing massive RF datasets, and create developer tools and APIs to accelerate hardware bring-up. Your daily work involves developing simulation and modeling applications for 2D/3D antenna array design, automating firmware deployment, and building web applications for system monitoring. You will utilize Python, Rust, C++, Java, or Go alongside AWS cloud services and distributed systems. Key technical competencies include CI/CD pipelines, data processing, microservices architecture, and DevOps practices to solve hardware characterization and system validation problems within a low Earth orbit satellite network.

What you'll do

What we're looking for

Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, refugee, or granted asylum.
5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems.
Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
Proficiency in Python, Rust, C++, Java, Go, or similar languages.
Master's degree in computer science or equivalent (preferred).
