The Sr. SAP GTS Solutions Architect, Amazon Leo - Business Systems joins the team creating enterprise applications to design, build, and operate business services for a low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. This role involves providing technical and functional support for software product development in SAP S/4 and SAP Global Trade Services (GTS). You will develop custom solutions, enhancements, and user interfaces, perform customization and configuration, and integrate SAP GTS with corporate applications while ensuring Controlled Unclassified Information protection. Key responsibilities include developing custom ABAP programs, reports, and interfaces, performing unit and integration testing, and driving product discussions with stakeholders. Required skills include experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud Platform, and clean core design concepts, alongside expertise in software development, cloud computing, and systems engineering.
Develop custom solutions, enhancements, and user interfaces for SAP S/4 and SAP GTS.
Analyze business requirements and functional specifications to design technical solutions.
Integrate SAP GTS with corporate applications while ensuring Controlled Unclassified Information protection.
Perform customization and configuration of SAP GTS products to meet specific business needs.
Develop custom ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, and enhancements to modify standard SAP functionality.
Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and debugging to ensure solution quality.
Lead SAP GTS product discussions with stakeholders to improve user adoption and training.
Build the technology roadmap based on the latest SAP technologies to meet long-term business needs.
What we're looking for
Candidates must be a U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder).
8+ years of experience in specific technology domain areas such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data, or analytics.
3+ years of experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or Internet industries.
Knowledge of SAP systems (like SAP Business Suite, S/4HANA, SAP Business Warehouse, SAP HANA, SAP Business Objects, etc.) and their architecture and infrastructure needs (preferred).
Experience in SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud Platform, SAP Cloud ERP and Cloud ERP Private (preferred).
Experience in SAP clean core design concepts, including design and build using non-SAP technologies in domains such as Generative / Agentic AI, and data & analytics (preferred).
