What you'll do

Refine customer use cases and operational problems to develop tailored satellite broadband solutions.
Collaborate with Engineering teams to invent new products and technical features for the Leo network.
Author product roadmaps, description documents, and detailed engineering requirement specifications.
Create technical requirements based on specific needs of federal, state, and DoD customers.
Make high-judgment trade-offs between feature sets and speed-to-launch with the leadership team.
Identify and research new opportunities to innovate for government and intelligence community clients.
Manage risks, anticipate bottlenecks, and balance business needs against technical constraints.
Write formal proposals based on the Amazon Leo for Government product and service offerings.

What we're looking for

Must be a U.S. citizen.
Must possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent.
3+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or Internet industries.
Experience managing product development for satellite technologies and satellite communications systems.
5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience.
3+ years of satellite communications ground systems and operations experience.
5+ years of experience working with U.S. Federal customers.
