What you'll do

Build, implement, and improve policies and systems to ensure compliance with customer requirements and industry standards.
Perform internal audits of business processes, systems, and products to verify ISO 9001 and AS9100 compliance.
Manage corrective and preventive action processes to resolve non-conformances and drive continuous improvement.
Initiate and lead the implementation of changes for management system procedures, policies, and audit checklists.
Provide training and guidance on management systems to SpaceX leadership and internal departments.
Support internal, vendor, and supplier audits as well as external third-party audits.
Analyze quality metrics and data to drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.

What we're looking for

Bachelor degree in an engineering or STEM discipline.
5+ years of experience in mechanical or electrical product design, testing, or manufacturing.
Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee to meet ITAR requirements.
8+ years of experience in mechanical or electrical product design, testing, or manufacturing (preferred).
Thorough knowledge of the ISO family of standards, especially ISO9001 (preferred).
ASQ-CQA-RAB certified lead auditor or training with hands-on implementation and assessment experience (preferred).
Experience with quality tools including root cause, corrective action, QMS auditing, and statistical analysis (preferred).
Working knowledge of SQL and ability to maintain Tableau metrics (preferred).
