What you'll do

  • Lead a team of software engineers to implement cloud-based, full-stack software applications.
  • Own the architecture and design of advanced decision support systems and analytic services.
  • Build and integrate microservices, APIs, and data pipelines to process disparate data sources.
  • Develop web-based user interfaces that integrate with backend processes and databases.
  • Design and implement cloud-hosted microservices to support decision support and analytic workflows.
  • Develop custom algorithms and analytic services for automated decision making and situational awareness.
  • Evaluate commercial solutions as part of make/buy analyses for cloud services and COTS/GOTS components.
  • Direct the tasking of other engineers to accomplish project milestones.

What we're looking for

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Active Top Secret security clearance is required.
  • B.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and 2 years of programming experience; or M.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field; or Ph.D. in a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience developing software solutions using Python, C, or C++.
  • Demonstrated experience integrating commercial software products as part of a custom software solution.
  • Proven experience with the full lifecycle of software engineering including the operations and maintenance of fielded systems.
  • Experience as a team lead directing the tasking of other engineers to accomplish milestones.
  • Active SCI security clearance (preferred); Advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field (preferred).
