As a Sr Principal Software Engineer - Common Components, you will join a newly formed platform engineering product line at a global financial institution. You will provide deep expertise to lead the strategic development of reusable frameworks, SDKs, tools, and services designed to simplify authentication, resiliency, observability, and compliance for thousands of engineers. Your daily work involves creating novel code solutions, translating complex technical trends like agent-native architecture into leadership strategy, and building durable software components that are secure and observable by default. You will leverage over ten years of experience in system design, application development, and cloud-native environments to solve complex problems. The role requires expertise in at least one programming language and a focus on developing tools consumable by LLMs and modern developer tooling within a large-scale enterprise technology environment.
