What you'll do

Monitor and report on HPC system health metrics while identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks.
Manage the full lifecycle of HPC systems including design, installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and disposal.
Assist software developers in installing, debugging, and optimizing applications within the HPC environment.
Scan, patch, and harden computing environments to ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies and customer requirements.
Develop and maintain backup strategies and disaster recovery frameworks for critical systems.
Create technical artifacts and documentation to support system assessment and authorization processes.
Provide senior-level technical expertise and mentorship to team members to enhance overall capabilities.
Act as a key technical advisor to leadership regarding mission-critical systems and strategic initiatives.

What we're looking for

Must possess a Master's degree with 6 years experience, Bachelor's with 8 years, Associate's with 10 years, or High School Diploma with 12 years.
Must hold an active Security+ CE or higher certification.
Must possess a current U.S. Government Secret level security clearance or higher.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance and access to Special Programs.
Must be a U.S. citizen.
Experience is required in configuring, administering, and maintaining Red Hat or other Linux systems.
Experience is required operating within NISPOM, RMF, STIG, JAFAN, or JSIG information system environments.
Experience is required contributing to the architecture and design of High Performance Computing (HPC) systems.
