Senior Network Architect

What you'll do

• Design and develop high-level and low-level architectural blueprints for LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, and cloud environments.
• Create multi-year technology roadmaps to drive network modernization, scalability, and security improvements.
• Architect scalable routing and switching solutions integrated with advanced security measures like ZTNA and micro-segmentation.
• Ensure high availability and performance through proactive capacity planning and traffic engineering.
• Lead the transition toward automation and Infrastructure as Code using tools like Ansible, Terraform, and Python.
• Act as a top-tier escalation point to lead root cause analysis and resolve complex network issues.
• Manage vendor relationships and evaluate hardware/software solutions from providers like Cisco, Palo Alto, and Zscaler.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation including topology maps, design standards, and configuration management policies.

What we're looking for

• BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 15+ years of work experience in the networking domain.
• Completion of at least three significant network solution designs.
• In-depth knowledge of the OSI model and various network types including LAN, WAN, and WLAN.
• Proficiency with protocols such as DNS, HTTP, SSL, 802.1x, Load Balancing, SD-WAN, VPN, and PKI.
• Experience with Cisco products (Nexus, Catalyst, WLC, ISE), Palo Alto Networks firewalls, and F5 load balancers.
• Knowledge of public cloud (preferred) and Zero-Trust networking (preferred).
• CCNP, CCIE, PCNSE, or Azure Network Engineer Associate certifications (preferred).
