Senior Manager, Mechatronics Engineer

What you'll do

• Design and manage a team of engineers to bring technology enablers to a functional technology readiness level.
• Report on current capabilities, time-to-market, and progress regarding the Dextro technology development roadmap.
• Identify development opportunities and risks to convert technology into a tangible Mechatronics Toolbox.
• Utilize management systems to track project progress, manage costs, and update development strategies.
• Lead and coach direct reports while setting clear goals and performance expectations.
• Develop and maintain metrics to support the successful delivery of technology roadmap items.
• Research advanced vision and machine learning techniques for application to Dextro systems.

What we're looking for

• Must have an Engineering degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• Must have 10 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree, 18 years with a Master's, or 6 years with a PhD.
• Must have 6+ years of experience in Engineering.
• Must have 6+ years of management experience, including 4+ years leading Engineering teams to design/build Robotic/Automation products or systems.
• Must have 3+ years of experience working with technology companies for new product development.
• Must have a strong background in physical AI, robotics, automation, and algorithm development.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, OpenCV, and machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch (preferred).
• Experience with MCAD tools such as Siemens NX, Creo, or SolidWorks (preferred).
