Senior Manufacturing Quality Engineer

What you'll do

• Drive APQP tools including DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans, and Process Flows for new design changes.
• Lead complex optical assembly test failure investigations by engaging design and manufacturing teams.
• Utilize SPC tools to identify critical optical test parameters and monitor product process variations.
• Develop and validate quality management activities for assembly methods, part qualifications, and inspection plans.
• Lead Material Review Board discussions to determine product dispositions for nonconforming materials.
• Execute root cause corrective action activities for production processes prior to launch vehicle loading.
• Develop and qualify inspection, monitoring, and verification methods with Supplier Quality and Engineering teams.

What we're looking for

• Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, refugee, or granted asylum.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience developing functional specifications, design verification plans, and functional test procedures.
• 5+ years of experience leading APQP, including PFMEA, CP, PFD, SPC, and MSA.
• BS or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Optical Engineering (preferred).
• 5+ years of experience with data querying languages, scripting languages, or statistical/mathematical software (preferred).
• Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to execute product design from concept to production (preferred).
• Export control laws and regulations, candidates.
