JOB TITLE: Sr. Manager
The Sr. Manager serves as a Product Architect responsible for the successful delivery, adoption, and ongoing success of Visa Intelligent Authorization for strategically important clients. This role acts as the connective tissue between Product, Sales Engineering, Client Services, and Delivery teams to ensure client needs and product capabilities remain aligned throughout the onboarding lifecycle. Key responsibilities include leading requirements discovery, developing end-to-end solution designs, and managing implementation governance to mitigate technical and operational risks. The successful candidate will navigate ambiguity to ensure commercial commitments and solution integrity are maintained from pre-sales through production stabilization. Required competencies include experience in payments, financial services, or fintech, with a focus on authorization systems, fraud management, and translating business requirements into scalable, operationally viable designs within a matrixed organization.
Own the successful delivery and adoption of Visa Intelligent Authorization for strategic clients.
Maintain continuity for clients from pre-sales discovery through production stabilization.
Lead requirements discovery and develop end-to-end solution designs for complex onboarding engagements.
Act as the primary bridge between client implementation teams and internal product teams.
Identify and mitigate technical, operational, and onboarding risks throughout the implementation lifecycle.
Provide implementation-driven insights to influence product strategy and future platform investments.
Troubleshoot complex integration issues and convert lessons learned into reusable onboarding patterns.
Influence stakeholders and drive decisions without formal authority to ensure successful client outcomes.
What we're looking for
8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree.
5 or more years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD).
2 or more years of work experience with a PhD.
9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree (preferred).
7 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (preferred).
3 or more years of experience with a PhD (preferred).
10+ years of experience in Payments, Financial Services, Banking, FinTech, or related industries (preferred).
Experience leading complex client onboarding, implementation, transformation, or integration programs within Payments, Financial Services, FinTech, or related industries (preferred).
