The Sr. Manager, Business Performance is a senior individual contributor responsible for transforming complex healthcare data into accurate reporting, meaningful insights, and actionable business recommendations. This role leads the development of performance dashboards, scorecards, analytical models, and reporting solutions that support quality, provider, operational, vendor, and financial performance. The position serves as a technical business partner to health plan leaders by identifying trends, evaluating root causes, and measuring outcomes. Key responsibilities include gathering requirements, data validation, and communicating findings to diverse audiences. Required skills include advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and business intelligence platforms like Power BI or Tableau. The role operates within a managed care environment, addressing problems related to Medicaid, Medicare, HEDIS, CAHPS, value-based care, and vendor performance management.

Lead the development of performance dashboards, scorecards, analytical models, and reporting solutions.

Query, join, validate, and summarize data from multiple sources using SQL.

What we're looking for
Seven or more years of experience in healthcare analytics, business analysis, performance management, data reporting, or a related field.
Experience working within managed care, healthcare consulting, or another complex and regulated environment.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a business intelligence platform such as Power BI or Tableau.
Working proficiency in SQL, including the ability to query, join, validate, and summarize data from multiple sources.
Demonstrated experience developing dashboards, scorecards, analytical models, and performance reports.
Experience gathering and documenting data, business, functional, and reporting requirements.
Strong understanding of data validation, quality assurance, reconciliation, and reporting controls.
Bachelor’s degree in business, data analytics, information systems, finance, economics, healthcare administration, public health, or a related field (preferred: Master's degree).
