What you'll do

  • Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of data engineering solutions using Oracle, Snowflake, and Azure.
  • Drive Oracle modernization and migration initiatives including data movement, ETL/ELT, and cloud-based platforms.
  • Provide technical leadership by mentoring engineers, conducting code reviews, and establishing engineering best practices.
  • Design and optimize complex Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Snowflake, and data integration solutions.
  • Build and support scalable data pipelines, APIs, and near real-time data synchronization solutions.
  • Drive performance tuning, operational excellence, production support, and reliability improvements.

What we're looking for

  • 15+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Software Engineering.
  • Strong expertise in database design, performance tuning, and data modeling.
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Azure, Data Warehousing, ETL/ELT, and cloud data platforms.
  • Experience with Oracle-to-Snowflake migration and data modernization initiatives.
  • Experience with Astronomer Airflow, Kafka, MQ, CDC, or similar event-driven technologies.
  • Experience with REST APIs, JSON, Unix Shell Scripting, and Control-M.
  • Proficiency with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD, and Agile delivery practices.
  • Work Authorization.
