As a Sr. Lead Software Engineer within the Consumer & Community Banking Digital Technology team, you will serve as a technical leader and subject matter expert focused on designing and delivering secure, scalable, AI-enabled products. What you'll do

Architect and govern agentic AI-enabled engineering workflows to improve delivery speed, code quality, and operational outcomes.
Define guardrails for validation, security, resiliency, and reuse of AI-assisted engineering practices across teams.
Design and build complex, scalable coding frameworks using appropriate software design patterns for cross-functional use.
Develop secure production code and conduct rigorous code reviews and debugging across the organization.
Define enterprise-scale, target-state AI-enabled architecture to deliver next-generation customer experiences.
Collaborate with product and engineering leaders to define roadmaps and solution architectures aligned to goals.
Integrate enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation tools into the Software Development Life Cycle.
Advise cross-functional teams as a subject matter expert on AI-enabled engineering practices.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Expert proficiency in one or more programming languages.
Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Demonstrated experience designing and leading adoption of agentic AI-enabled development practices using enterprise-authorized tools.
Strong understanding of responsible AI use, security, resiliency, and risk-based governance in engineering workflows.
Practical cloud-native experience.
Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field (preferred).
Advanced knowledge of software architecture and depth in areas like cloud, AI, machine learning, or mobile (preferred).
