What you'll do

Create complex, scalable coding frameworks and durable software components for use across multiple teams.
Develop secure, high-quality production code and perform code reviews and debugging for other engineers.
Architect and govern agentic AI-enabled engineering workflows to improve delivery speed and code quality.
Define enterprise-scale, AI-enabled architectures for solutions within the Consumer & Community Banking division.
Apply software development life cycle tools and automation to improve operational outcomes at scale.
Advise cross-functional teams on technical matters and serve as a subject matter expert.
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define roadmaps and solution architectures.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Expert proficiency in one or more programming languages.
Demonstrated experience designing and leading adoption of agentic AI-enabled development practices across teams.
Strong understanding of responsible AI use, security/resiliency implications, and risk-based governance in engineering workflows.
Experience applying expertise to determine solutions for complex technology problems in one or more technical disciplines.
Practical cloud native experience.
Experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field (preferred).
